Ozefax is dedicated to establishing a trusting relationship with its Customers, based on respect for personal identity and information. To demonstrate our commitment to Customer privacy, we have developed a Privacy Policy.
If we decide to change our privacy practices, we will post those changes in our Privacy Policy, and other places we deem appropriate, so our Customers are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the Privacy Policy under which the information was collected. If, however, we are going to use Customers' personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify Customers via email. Customers will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. However, if Customers have opted out of all communication with Ozefax, or deleted/deactivated their account, then they will not be contacted, nor will their personal information be used in this new manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect Customer information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our Web site notifying Customers of the change. In some cases where we post a notice we will also email Customers who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
Registration/Information Collection
Before you begin to use our services, you will be asked to register to become an 'Ozefax Customer'. To complete the registration, you will need to give us some information about yourself including but not limited to your name, address and Email address. Ozefax Pty Limited (ABN 26 103 369 204) is collecting this information and we will retain ownership of it, that is this information will not be passed on.
Use of Information
Ozefax uses this information internally to improve the products and services we provide to you, and for billing and support purposes only. We will NOT share it with any third-party marketing individual or businesses. One of the many services Ozefax can offer to you when you register is notification concerning new products and services available from the Ozefax business only. Additionally, Ozefax's site is protected by a firewall to safeguard your financial information and further ensure your privacy is kept intact.
Exchanging Information with other Credit Providers (Section 18N(1)(b), Privacy Act 1988)
On registering to use our services, you agree to Ozefax Pty Limited, obtaining personal information about yourself or your business from other credit providers, whose names you may have provided for Ozefax Pty Limited or that may be names in a credit report, for the purpose of assessing your application for commercial credit made to Ozefax Pty Limited.
Communication
As a user of the Ozefax service, you will receive a confirmation email with your software password and instructions on how to use the service. You will also receive monthly emails that contain your account information. Emails that involve current promotions as well as newsletters to help keep you informed of our latest development are also sent sporadically. If you choose to "Tell a Friend" once you have become a member, they will receive the selected message that describes our services. They will only receive this email on one occasion.
Internet Protocol (IP) Addresses
We may collect your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administrate our web site. Your IP address is only used to identify you and form broad demographic information.
Links and Special Relationships
Our site may include links to other web sites on the Internet. However, please be advised that Ozefax is not responsible for the privacy practice of such sites unless operated and run by Ozefax.
